ALESSANDRA MARCONI
Alessandra Marconi is a native of Trenton, OH and has been dancing since the age of ten. She has performed nationally and internationally both with Exhale Dance Tribe and the American Dance Co. Her training includes Planet Dance in Cincinnati with former Broadway stars Missy Lay Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard as well as with teachers such as Meridith Benson and Lincoln Chapman. She has broadened her arts education by training and working with some of today’s leading master teacher/choreographers including Mark Marino, Sheila Barker, Byron Carter, Jennifer Porteous, Kristin Denehy and Dana Salamando. She has performed in venues such as the Merce Cunningham Theater in New York City, The Duke Theater on 42nd St., Radio City Music Hall and danced for the Pointer Sisters in Las Vegas. Ali was the 2007 Cincinnati Arts Association Overture Award Winner in Dance. Locally, Ali was a lead dancer in Know Theater of Cincinnati’s Christmas Yet To Come and played the role of Cobweb in the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream. Most recently you can see her in the national I-Dog commercial.
