EMILY SILBER, GUEST ARTIST
As the youngest member of Exhale Dance Tribe, Emily has already amassed years of performing experience and has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip-Hop since the age of 4. Originally from Cincinnati, she has received numerous scholarships and awards and attends workshops throughout the country to broaden her dance experience. She recently did summer study at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles on full scholarship, performed in 2007 at Radio City Music Hall and was a 2007 Cincinnati Arts Association Overture Finalist. She has also performed with Jennifer Holiday and the Weather Girls in Las Vegas as well as with Exhale Dance Tribe at the Merce Cunningham Theater in New York City. She most recently was seen in Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She currently trains with Missy Lay Zimmer and Andrew Hubbard and studies Ballet with Jennifer Porteus at Planet Dance. She has previously been an apprentice with Exhale Dance Tribe.
